Job description

Twisted Sister is looking for an experienced Important Merchandiser to join our growing team.

Mission
  • Champion the Critical Path: Drive the entire production process from order intake to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and collections launch with impact.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with designers, buyers, factories, and logistics partners.
  • Solve Production Puzzles: Proactively identify and resolve production challenges, demonstrating your problem‑solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Embrace the Details: Meticulously manage order details, ensuring accuracy and minimising errors.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our production processes.
Responsibilities
Order Management
  • Reporting to the Head of Production, work within the Production team managing Customer accounts across Womenswear and Menswear (multi‑product garments), learning and experiencing the multiple facets of the Merchandising operation.
  • Inputting and managing all new orders for your customer accounts onto the Twisted Sister Critical Path once an order has been confirmed.
  • Liaise with our Garment Technologists to ensure fit samples are processed and prepared in the correct order of priority ready to be sent out to customer fit sessions.
  • Liaise with our Garment Technologists ahead of their customer fit meetings to ensure they are sealing garments on time and achieving approvals in line with the Critical Path.
Order Processing
  • Oversee and pre‑empt any production issues on your accounts and ensure these are flagged up to the Head of Production so the correct decisions can be taken.
  • Manage the Critical Path on your Customer accounts and ensure all dates are maintained and orders run on time.
  • Taking responsibility for managing aspects of the running orders.
  • Check and process all incoming lab‑dips / labels / bulk fabrics before they are sent out.
  • Ensure any queries on fabrics / lab‑dips etc are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers daily to ensure all approvals are made in line with the agreed Critical Path trigger dates.
Communication & Order Completion
  • Communicate with our Factories daily to ensure all orders run smoothly and on time, request any extensions / grant extensions to the factories if required.
  • Ensure the Factories make the bookings with the Customers’ forwarders on time. Any delays to be reported to the Head of Production.
  • Chasing and checking the shipping documents for your assigned orders. Any discrepancies to be rectified before passing to Accounts for payment.
  • Attend the weekly Critical Path meeting with the Production team and Head of Production to discuss current orders and identify any issues / late delivery problems that need addressing.
Profile
  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar merchandising role.
  • Supplier experience.
  • A relevant fashion degree, with a minimum 2:1 grade.
  • A passion for premium products and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with PLM systems.
  • A proactive and results‑oriented approach.
  • A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.
  • The position is based in the studio, 5 days per week, and is not a hybrid position; therefore, suitable applicants will need to be able to successfully commute to the studio.
