Overview

A well established men’s clothing company based in Derby is looking for an organised and proactive Import & Export Coordinator to their growing team. This role involves managing and overseeing the movement of goods in and out of the UK, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and supporting the business in smooth international operations. You’ll be liaising with suppliers, freight agents, customs, and internal departments to keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating international shipments and customs documentation
  • Managing import/export paperwork, invoices, declarations, and licenses
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and suppliers to schedule deliveries
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and international import/export regulations
  • Supporting internal teams with stock arrival updates and lead times
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and resolving delays or issues

Hourly Rate: This role pays between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, based on experience. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: Full-time: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in an import/export or logistics role
  • Knowledge of international shipping processes, incoterms, and customs requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with suppliers and freight companies
  • Experience with Excel and stock or order management systems is required
