Experienced IFA Administrator - Full time, Permanent

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional support to Independent Financial Advisers.

Core Responsibilities

In a typical week, you will:

  • Office Administration: Work collaboratively within the team to manage day-to-day office administration tasks.
  • Compliance & AML Checks: Review new business submissions against Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy before processing and chasing overdue items.
  • Document Management: File all correspondence, including electronic documents, using Virtual Cabinet (our cloud-based document library).
  • New Business Support: Arrange documentation such as illustrations, quotations, and other supporting materials for new business cases.
  • Compliance Maintenance: Ensure all compliance documents (e.g., Money Laundering checks, Client Verification) are up to date.
  • Client Record Updates: Maintain and update back-office client records for new business submissions, investment changes, and personal details.
  • Investment Valuations: Produce investment valuations using back-office systems and provider downloads.
  • Accounts Assistance: Support the Accounts team with fee-related queries.

  • Strong understanding of financial services compliance and AML requirements.
  • Proficiency in back-office systems and document management software (experience with Virtual Cabinet is advantageous).
