Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IAM work packages to go-live and transition to BAU.
• Engage stakeholders across IT, Security, HR, Operations, and business units.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

IDAM Phase 2 is seeking to recruit additional resources to accelerate the existing IDAM Project which is delivering the implementation of SailPoints Identity Security Cloud platform and to the wider Identity Programme within SGN up until the end of GD2 but likely to continue into GD3

Initially the below roles will be until March 31st 2026 can be extendable until Sept 2026

Day rate: 450-500 GBP / Day Inside IR35

IDAM Project Manager

Role purpose

The IAM Project Manager is responsible for planning leading and delivering Identity Access Management IAM initiatives with a focus on improving identity governance access control and security posture across the organisation

They will support the existing PM and manage endtoend project delivery of one or more work packages scope budget timeline quality coordinate technical and business stakeholders and ensure the SailPoint solution is implemented in a controlled secure and businessaligned way

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery
• Lead endtoend delivery of IAM work packages to golive and transition to BAU
• Manage work package scope schedule budget quality and project governance
• Support and maintain project plans RAID logs decision logs and status reporting
• Requirements Scope Management
• Work with security architecture HR and business teams to define and refine IAM requirements
• Ensure clear acceptance criteria for IAM capabilities such as
• JoinerMoverLeaver automation
• Access request workflows
• Access certification
• Rolebased access control RBAC
• SSOMFA enhancements
• Directory and identity data improvements
• Stakeholder Management
• Engage stakeholders across IT Security HR Operations and business units
• Communicate progress risks and decisions clearly and confidently
• Facilitate workshops design sessions and governance forums
• Vendor Partner Coordination
• Coordinate delivery with IAM vendors and implementation partners eg SailPoint SMEs SGN resources DTS partners
• Track vendor deliverables dependencies and SOW commitments
• Ensure alignment between internal teams and external partners
• Risk Compliance Security
• Identify and manage project risks issues and dependencies
• Ensure IAM solutions meet regulatory audit and internal security policy requirements
• Support security assessments design reviews and control validation
• Testing Transition
• Coordinate UAT OAT and defect management
• Ensure operational readiness including training documentation and handover to BAU teams
• Support change management activities to drive adoption

Essential skills experience

• Project management
• Proven experience delivering complex IT or security projects ideally in IAM security or infrastructure domains
• IAM domain knowledge
• Good understanding of IAM concepts such as authentication authorisation RBAC SSO MFA identity lifecycle management access certification entitlements and segregation of duties
• Tools/technologies Very desirable
• Delivery experience of IAM platforms particularly SailPoint IdentityNow ISCIIQ Azure AD Okta CyberArk or similar

Desirable experience

• Regulated critical infrastructure environment eg utilities financial services telecoms healthcare
• Experience leading identity governance initiatives eg role mining access reviews privileged access management
• Prior experience working with 3rdparty implementation partners and managing statements of work
