What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are pleased to announce an ICU Nurse Fellowship which aims to help address the shortage of critical care nurses in the United Kingdom. The programme targets early-career nurses with critical care career aspirations via an immersive 6-month ‘Fellowship’ which includes both classroom and direct care modules.

This is a Monday to Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role, as per the service requirements.

What will your duties include?

  • Expand skills and knowledge in critical care practice in order to provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Prioritizes nursing care, recognises deterioration in a patient’s condition and escalates to the site team/clinician immediately.
  • Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

What we need from you:

  • NMC registered adult Nurse
  • Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses
  • Suitable hospital-based nursing experience
  • Supports the Intensive Care Unit manager in contributing to CCL’s nursing and strategic goals
