Job Description:
Empowering Learning is recruiting a dedicated and adaptable ICT Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Reddish area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will be delivering ICT lessons to students with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), supporting digital skills, confidence, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible ICT lessons tailored to SEN learners
  • Plan and differentiate lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Support students in developing practical ICT and digital literacy skills
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Work closely with SEN support staff and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in SEN or alternative provision (desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
