Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality ICT lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring they meet the national curriculum requirements.
• Planning and preparing engaging lessons that foster student development in both practical and theoretical ICT skills.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Promoting a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall ICT curriculum and share best teaching practices.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and incorporating them into lesson plans where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills

• A relevant degree in ICT, Computing, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred, but not essential).
• Proven experience teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and manage classroom dynamics.
