Red Bull Powertrains has an exciting opportunity to join our ICE Operations team as we transition from building our team’s first Power Units to refining them into a race-ready package, all aimed at delivering the most competitive car on the 2026 Formula One grid. We are seeking an Assembly Technician to help drive the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

In this Assembly Technician role, you will cover all aspects of assembly, build, servicing, and maintenance of our Power Units, including oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, Turbocharger, and MGU-K, both at the factory and on events if requested by the Team Leader or Trackside Chief Mechanic.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and engine build experience
  • A high level of mechanical assembly competence
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures, including checklist data entry
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to operate internal business systems
  • Flexible attitude to travel and working hours (where required)
  • Motorsport or high-end automotive experience (desired)
