Location: Retford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a busy factory based in Retford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deep cleaning of production areas, machinery, and shared spaces
  • Following hygiene procedures and cleaning schedules
  • Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely (full training provided)
  • Maintaining accurate hygiene records and checklists
  • Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure the factory remains clean, safe, and compliant
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning or hygiene experience is desirable but not essential
  • A good eye for detail and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructionsWillingness to work in a factory environment
