Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with previous experience of working on a successful, well‑established OEM.

Key Responsibilities & Benefits
  • Hydraulics Service Engineer must have recent, demonstrable hydraulics experience.
  • Hydraulics qualifications are useful; if not possessed, the company will arrange training courses (Stages 1‑3) at the National Fluid Power Centre.
  • Previous experience at a specialist hydraulics company or in a role heavily focused on hydraulics is required.
  • Helps with a float for meals, expenses, hotels etc. – you never have to pay out‑of‑pocket.
  • Must hold a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Pipe‑fitting and/or welding experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Bonus scheme for work brought into the department from customers.
  • 36‑hour working week; all hours over 36 are paid overtime at 1.5odigo.
  • Company base is Leeds; looking for an engineer living in the Midlands to service Midlands and Southern customers, with occasional trips to Leeds.
  • All travelling hours to sites and the Leeds facility are paid.
  • Regular weekly stop‑overs are expected.
  • Ford Transit van and all required tools supplied.
  • Service Engineers can live anywhere in the Midlands (e.g., Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Stafford, Telford, Worcester, Northampton, Warwick, Rugby, Tamworth, Stoke).
