A consultancy firm is looking for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their team remotely. In this role, you will work on a Water Network programme aimed at improving flow and reducing leakage. You will analyze hydraulic models, support leakage management teams, and identify network inefficiencies. Ideal candidates should have a background in water networks along with relevant engineering qualifications. This role offers a competitive salary between £45,000 - £50,000, and aims at optimizing water distribution systems.
Working for a Utilities consultancy delivering a Water Network programme improving Flow, velocity and reducing leakage.
Location : Remote 5 days a week
Salary : £45,000 - £50,000 basic
As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will be working on a transformation programme within Water Networks. Working alongside the water provider in identifying issues, looking at improvements and supporting the team in signing off on the correct solution. Assist the leakage management teams by providing hydraulic analysis that identifies areas vulnerable to leakage or other network inefficiencies. You will build and calibrate detailed hydraulic models of water distribution networks to simulate water flow, pressure, and network performance under various operational conditions.
Playing a vital role in the clean water team, you will be using your technical knowledge of Water Networks to support designing and delivering solutions. You need to understand various aspects of the Clean Water network, such as :
