Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Full Time Permanent Hybrid Semi Remote Working From Home Social Housing & Support Officer Worker to join a leading Supported Housing Service based in Post Code Area KT12 Walton-on-Thames of Surrey when not working from home half the time, who is really passionate about providing personal housing support services.

This role is full time, 37 hours weekly between approximately Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm, with start and finish times slightly amended to suit as needed.

We have an exciting opportunity to support clients with a range of diverse housing needs. You will help vulnerable clients as a keyworker to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible, whilst ensuring they are safe and able to manage risks appropriately.

Due to the need to meet clients at various locations, a driving licence and your own transport are required; fuel cost for travelling away from main base will be reimbursed. You must also be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS Check. Please only apply if this is okay.

In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive salary of £26,750 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting and empowering clients by providing holistic trauma‑informed one‑to‑one support to encourage personal development to achieve personal goals and live independently.
  • Working as part of an effective team to provide high‑quality housing and support services to all clients using this service.
  • Carrying out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues and health and safety checks. Ensuring a firm and empathetic approach to support clients to maintain their tenancies.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high‑quality accommodation and support services to all clients by participating in required activities necessary in delivering those.
