Job summary

An international NGO is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal and compliance support across departments. This role involves negotiating contracts, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in commercial law. This position is part-time and based in London with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE and experience in commercial and contract law.
• Excellent drafting skills with a variety of contracts and documents.
• Experience in identifying legal risks and providing balanced solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for legal queries within WaterAid.
• Review and negotiate contracts with third parties.
• Draft and update contract templates.
