Job summary

An engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to enhance their team on a contract basis. This role allows for hybrid working, with three days at the office near Reading. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, ideally chartered or working towards it.
• Extensive experience in Mechanical Design Engineering on complex projects.
• Significant understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical system designs for Shell and Core and Commercial projects.
• Create mechanical system drawings, specifications, and layouts using BIM workflows.
• Ensure designs comply with industry regulations and standards.
