Job summary

A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate in Commercial Disputes located in Cambridge with a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) and be adept at advising clients on a range of commercial contract disputes. Responsibilities include preparing complex settlement agreements, working on litigation matters, and actively participating in business development. Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in commercial disputes.
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and arbitration rules such as ICC / CIA.
  • Experience of sports-related regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on commercial contract disputes including various areas.
  • Prepare and negotiate high-value and complex settlement agreements.
  • Work on litigation matters from pre-action through to trial.
  • Play an active role in business development.
