HVAC Engineer (Commercial Gas and Air Conditioning)

Location: Birmingham / West Midlands

Package: Up to £45,000 per annum, 40 hours/week, door-to-door travel, no on-call or weekend work, 23 days holiday plus 4 days for Christmas, 8 bank holidays, overtime at 1.5x/2x, van and fuel card, tablet, pension.

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / AC Engineer for a family-run facilities management company based in the West Midlands, established for 22 years. The company services a diverse client base including offices, schools, hospitals, and factories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service and repair of commercial gas and air conditioning equipment
2. Client meetings – customer-facing role

Essential Qualifications / Experience

1. Commercial gas qualifications (e.g., CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, COCN1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, CoNGLP1PD)
2. FGAS or NVQ Level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning
3. OFTEC qualification (advantageous)
4. Valid driver’s license
