A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer to join their team specializing in nuclear and defence projects. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and provides opportunities for professional development. Ideal candidates will have relevant engineering education and experience in producing design deliverables. Our Defence and Security teams provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. We are growing and looking for Mechanical/HVAC engineers with transferable skills who are passionate about developing themselves and meeting new challenges. We offer hybrid working with 1-2 days in the office, or in some cases fully remote. Occasional site visits may be necessary.
We are looking to recruit and develop career minded people to bolster our well-established and growing multi-discipline engineering delivery capability to meet opportunities in the nuclear and defence industries. Our projects include developing solutions through all RIBA stages in highly regulated environments, in support of air, land and sea defence establishments, the UK nuclear submarine fleet, and both existing and new build nuclear power stations.
You will preferably have experience of working in the nuclear and/or defence industries, but also those with relevant industrial design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment.
