Job description

Overview

Our Client will be constructing a new 132/11kv substation for the electrical supply to the Sizewell C construction site and are looking for a HV fitter to supervise the Mechanical and Electrical works on site.

Responsibilities

• Review and comment on drawings
• Assist with the creation of RAMS/ITPS for related works
• Assist with material orders
• Supervise the team completing the works
• Substation earthing installation
• Panel wiring within substation control panels
• Installation and termination of secondary equipment such as commando sockets, isolators, lights, switches, sockets

Qualifications

• Level 3 C&G 2357 Electrical Installation
• C&G 2339-17 or equivalent
• Level 3 Power Networks Craftsperson Qualification
• ECS Gold card
• C&G 2396 Inspection and Testing (advantageous)
• 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations.
