Job description

Overview

HV Electrical Engineer - Power Generation. Hybrid with travel across the Midlands and North West 2-3 days per week. £70,000 plus benefits.

Jenrick is working closely with a leading energy company to find a HV Electrical Engineer to join their in-house team covering their mixed source power generation sites mainly across the Midlands & North West.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance of sites to ensure continued operational output is met.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external contractors to support site operations.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge and experience of transformers, switchgear, and distribution with delivery to the National Grid and business customers.
• HV background with exposure to different forms of power generation (e.g., diesel engine, gas turbine, battery, etc.).

Location & Travel

Hybrid role with travel across the Midlands and North West; approximately 2-3 days per week on site.
