Qualifications

We are now recruiting for the position of Human Resources Generalist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, growing team of experts in the field and build on your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and coach line managers on employee relations matters such as performance management, attendance, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Provide employees with clear guidance on HR topics, including leave, compensation, and general policy queries.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle by managing recruitment administration, including responding to applications, coordinating interviews, and preparing onboarding documentation and induction materials.
  • Manage fortnightly and monthly payroll processing, with additional backup support for weekly and monthly Irish payrolls as needed.
  • Oversee and resolve daily Time and Attendance queries to support accurate fortnightly and monthly payroll processing.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team and wider business functions to share guidance, strengthen working relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the HR systems and produce regular HR reports.
  • Develop and coordinate the employee onboarding programme and support the organisation of training and development initiatives.
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions for line managers.
  • Conduct new starter check-ins and complete exit interviews for departing employees.
  • Support the development and implementation of people policies.
  • Perform HR administrative tasks as required.
Skills And Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' HR experience, ideally within a construction, manufacturing, or fast‑paced environment.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and proven experience handling employee relations matters.
  • Confident in providing HR advice and guidance to managers.
  • Solid understanding of general HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience using HRIS systems considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build, maintain, and develop effective working relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Organised with good time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
