Role Summary

They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). This front‑line role will provide essential support to managers across a range of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment coordination, system management, and operational HR tasks. The ideal candidate will be autonomous and agile, thriving in a busy environment where multitasking and quick decision‑making are key.

This position can be either 4 or 5 days per week, with flexibility required for any day off, starting in early February.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front‑line HR support to managers, including managing sickness absence, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), flexible working requests, maternity and paternity leave, and changes to Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
  • Handle onboarding and induction processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration both on and off the HR system.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including managing the recruitment system and supporting end‑to‑end processes.
  • Maintain and look after the HR system (Cascade experience is advantageous), generating training reports, conducting HR audits, and updating organizational structures.
  • Manage system‑related recruitment tasks and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Juggle multiple tasks autonomously, agreeing on priorities and delivering results without the need for constant guidance.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience with HR systems, particularly Cascade, would be beneficial.

Personal Attributes

  • Able to thrive in a fun, friendly team that works hard and values getting things done quickly.
  • Excellent multitasking and juggling skills in a busy environment.
  • Autonomous and proactive, comfortable working independently after tasks are set and agreed upon.
