HSQE Advisor

Location: Bristol

Salary: £42K-£50K

A leading engineering and manufacturing business in the industrial cooling and HVAC sector is looking for an experienced HSQE Advisor to support and improve its Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards across multiple UK sites.

The Role
  • Support and maintain HSQE management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, CDM regulations, and ISO standards (9001 & 14001).
  • Provide health and safety guidance to managers, teams, and subcontractors.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Carry out audits, monitor site performance, and report trends to senior management.
  • Promote a strong HSQE/ QHSE/ EHS and compliance culture across the business.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years' HSQE experience in an engineering, industrial, or technical environment.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems.
  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel across multiple sites.
  • Desirable: Environmental or Fire NEBOSH, CCNSG, training qualifications, experience with SafeContractor/JOSCAR.
