What You\'ll Do
- Maintain and enhance Integrated Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Review and update HSEQ-related documentation—including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Assist in shaping HSEQ plans aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-effective measures to minimize risk.
- Prepare monthly HSEQ reports for Directors and drive engagement through staff briefings, training sessions, newsletters, and bulletins.
- Manage and update the Health & Safety Training Matrix, ensuring staff competency and timely reminders.
- Perform regular workplace inspections and site audits to assess the effectiveness of HSEQ protocols.
- Ensure that facilities and project documentation is current, accessible, and well-organised.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and support the development of project-specific safety plans.
- Contribute to PQQs and tender returns.
- Promote continuous improvement under the direction of leadership.
- Deliver toolbox talks and on-the-job safety briefings across multiple sites, with flexibility for overnight travel as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Qualifications in auditing and environmental management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and coaching capabilities.
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies.
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and computer-based training platforms.
- Full, clean driving licence with willingness to travel.
- A proactive, flexible, and “can-do” attitude, ready to collaborate beyond traditional HSEQ responsibilities.
