Overview

INFORM3 Recruitment — HSEQ Manager

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Manager for a busy civils contractor based in Tyrone. The client is well known throughout the construction industry for high-quality workmanship and an organised approach to each project. The successful candidate will be familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and will manage Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager
  • Manage, update and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Develop all Health and Safety plans, highlighting any specific requirements for each project
  • Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
  • Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors, maintaining clear communication
  • Ensure regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed with relevant paperwork
  • Ensure all accidents/incidents are recorded, investigated and action plans are put in place for the future
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding Health & Safety processes
  • Prepare and coordinate training for all employees, ensuring staff are up to date
  • Attend meetings with Senior Management
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Attend and Chair Health & Safety Meetings
  • Maintain extremely high standards throughout the company
HSEQ Manager Specification
  • BSc in Health and Safety / Higher Diploma
  • 4 years plus experience in the Construction Industry
  • Able to manage a Health & Safety team
  • Excellent communicator
  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • Pro-active and self-motivated
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence
