Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HSE Administrator to join our safety and compliance team. The HSE Administrator will provide support and report to the HSE Manager and Business Systems Administrator. The role is ideal for anyone looking to progress within health, safety and environmental management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the formation and revision of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Carry out workplace inspections.
  • Provide support with audit preparations under the supervision of the Business Systems Administrator.
  • Facilitate communication and data collection for GHG accounting and CSRD reporting.
  • Provide support in delivering health and safety training sessions for employees.
  • Arrange HSE training when required and maintain HSE training records.
  • Revise safety data and COSHH assessments.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of relevant HSE practices and requirements.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing business.
  • Understanding of the management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is desirable.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • An internal audit certification is desirable.
  • Experience as a first aider, mental health first aider or fire warden is desirable.
