A financial services company in Edinburgh is seeking an expert in Workday HCM to configure and maintain business processes. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert, suggesting system improvements, and engaging with the Workday ecosystem. Ideal candidates will have proven experience with Workday and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include supporting the Product Owner to deliver a backlog view of all priorities, configuring and maintaining Workday business processes, security roles, reports, and integrations. The role serves as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM, including modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, and Absence. Proactive improvements to systems are encouraged, using business requirements to inform technical design, process configuration, security setup and testing. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new functionalities and identify enhancements to current ways of working. Ensure presence within the Workday ecosystem by connecting with other customers and sharing knowledge of best practices, system enhancements, and reporting with HR Systems colleagues and the wider HR team. Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure adherence to HR and IT systems and change governance.
