Job summary

A leading technology company is looking for an HR Systems Analyst to join their team in London on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide Level 2 support for HR applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams. We are recruiting a HR Systems Analyst to join our growing Technology team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the HRIS Product Manager you’ll provide Level 2 support for applications under the remit of the HR Product Manager and will be a key point of contact and provide exceptional support to the wider team. This role will best suit a candidate who has previous experience of working within a technology support team with an understanding of HR; this role you will be required to work on a shift basis rotating weekly to cover the hours of 08 : 00‑18 : 00 Monday‑Friday. Occasional weekend and evening on‑call coverage will be required.

The role
Key responsibilities
  • Prioritise and manage through to resolution incidents and service requests for all HR applications supported by SAP Finance & HR CoE team.
  • Provide a quality reliable and timely support service delivering to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements for new features and enhancements to the applications working to develop these for delivery / implementation to support business needs.
  • Work with vendors and cross‑functional teams to resolve on‑going technical issues.
  • Act as a key point of contact and administrator for the HR systems evaluating need for minor changes through design and implementation.
  • Produce and maintain training guides technical configuration documentation service catalogue & other relevant documentation.
  • Support the HR and HRIS team in any training required as result of system or process changes.
  • Maintain existing and produce new reports and dashboards as part of a catalogue for the business users.
  • Perform daily monthly periodic application and system checks and take appropriate action in optimising efficiency and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
  • Work with Technology teams as necessary communicating any systems / software upgrades and patches and diagnosing any application or system issues.
  • Triage defects identify potential fixes and manage incidents through to resolution either by an internal team or via an external supplier; communicating with the business user until issue is resolved.
  • Work with stakeholders and the Release Management team to ensure UAT and regression testing is complete for all new releases.
  • Evaluate and manage any changes to the applications through the Change Management process.
  • Represent the support team on project working groups to provide technical and application knowledge and guidance.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a technology support team.
  • An understanding of key HR processes and the ability to exercise sound judgement in handling sensitive HR information ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS HR Systems (i.e IRIS Cascade iTrent Oracle Bamboo SAP SuccessFactors Workday Dayforce).
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the business with the ability to build key relationships quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Logical and analytical thinking for fault diagnosis.
Desirable criteria
  • ITIL operational background.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • An understanding of GDPR and Data Protection policies in relation to HR and Business data.
  • Experience of complex system landscapes.
  • Knowledge and previous use of Jira.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics.

Salary

The salary band for this opportunity is 34000 - 40000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits.

Hybrid working

While our offices across the UK are places to connect collaborate and celebrate with colleagues we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from the Embassy Gardens office in London 2 days per week (typically Tuesday & Wednesday or Thursday).
