2 x Fixed Term 12 Month Contracts – Maternity Cover (Full Time 37 hours per week)

HR Support Analyst – Join Our People & Culture Team

Are you passionate about HR technology and driving digital engagement? We’re looking for two enthusiastic HR Analysts to join our HR Support Services Team on a 12-month fixed‑term basis to cover maternity leave. These roles are key to ensuring our HR systems run smoothly and support our People Strategy.

What’s at the heart of this role?

Project delivery, insight, and engagement. You’ll manage and deliver work packages and projects linked to system development, working to tight deadlines and balancing competing priorities.

You’ll use data and insights to inform evidence‑based decision‑making, translating complex information into clear workforce improvements.

Strong communication and networking skills are essential, as you’ll engage stakeholders across the Council and external partners, promoting our systems and driving digital adoption.

What will you be doing?
  • Managing and delivering projects and work packages linked to HR system development.
  • Configuring and maintaining our suite of HR applications, ensuring compliance with change control processes.
  • Managing complex system incidents and working with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Delivering training courses to managers and end users, designing guides and videos to support system use.
  • Promoting system engagement through meetings, forums, and tailored communications.
  • Evaluating system usage and data quality, driving improvements and recommendations through engagement and feedback.
  • Analysing and presenting workforce data using tools like Power BI to inform service improvements.

You’ll work closely with the HR Systems Manager and colleagues across People & Culture to deliver our People Strategy, whilst fostering an innovative and inclusive environment, putting user engagement and evidence‑based decision‑making at the heart of what we do.

Working arrangements

This role offers hybrid working options; however you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of two working days per week to collaborate with colleagues and support key activities.
