A government agency in Camden Town is seeking a Shared Services Manager to lead HR operations. This role involves ensuring efficient delivery of HR services and contributing to budget planning. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 5 qualification and experience in leading HR teams. The Shared Services Manager leads and develops the HR Shared Services function, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality transactional HR services to the entire organisation.
The postholder will be required to contribute to budget planning and provide cost saving options.
This role drives continuous improvement, embeds best practice, and fosters a customer-focused culture, enabling managers and colleagues to access timely, accurate support for all people-related processes.
Reporting to the Strategic HR Business Partner Lead. The post holder will be responsible for managing a team of three (3) HR advisors delivering first line HR services to the entire organisation.
The HR team at the Security Industry Authority (SIA) is undergoing an exciting period of transformation. As part of our restructure, we are building a modern, fit-for-purpose HR function aligned with our organisational priorities and future ambitions.

We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused HR professional to contribute to shaping a modern HR service that makes a real impact.
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience and/or qualification is required. The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully leading a HR operations/shared services or administrative team, and a proven track record in delivering efficient and accurate transactional HR services.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and HR operations best practice is essential. The candidate should also have experience producing and interpreting HR metrics and reports, and of HRIS administration and optimisation.
Alongside your salary of £43,901, Security Industry Authority contributes £12,718 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
