We have an excellent opportunity for an HR & Recruitment Assistant to be based in Hendon, North West London. This role is a temporary contract starting asap until mid‑January 2023. It is a full‑time position Monday‑Friday, with flexibility to work some weekends between October and November.

About the role

As an HR & Recruitment Assistant you will work with the HR Manager to build, maintain and grow the department, focusing on recruiting qualified staff for the season. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting HR with the recruitment process, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing contracts
  • Working closely with line managers to identify required candidate profiles
  • Assisting the HR Manager with any other duties as required
  • Onboarding, induction and off‑boarding of staff
  • Supporting internal and external HR requests
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic staff records
  • Processing payroll and assisting with documentation of employee compensation and benefits
  • Ensuring new starters are set up in the HR system
  • Liaising with new employees prior to their start date
  • Supporting HR‑related training programmes, workshops and seminars
  • Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
  • Upholding health & safety within the company
About you

To be successful for the role of HR & Recruitment Assistant, you must have or be:

  • A highly motivated individual who enjoys taking ownership and accountability when dealing with potential candidates
  • Effective at sorting through a high number of applicants’ CVs quickly
  • An enthusiastic and focused self‑motivated individual
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Able to build relationships with internal colleagues and potential new employees
  • A keen interest in HR and ideally previous experience working within an HR team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good communication abilities
  • Willingness to learn
  • Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills

About the rewards
