Overview

HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead who is CIPD Level 5 or equivalent with a solid generalist Human Resources background is required to join a well-established housing association based in Ealing, West London. This role is known within the organisation as a People Programme and Projects Lead.

Salary and Location

SALARY: £47,464 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Ealing (W5) and the remaining time from home

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Programme Management: Oversee and coordinate the People Services programme of work, setting priorities, sequencing projects, and identifying interdependencies
  • Monitor programme performance, ensuring progress through governance and alignment with the People Strategy
  • Facilitate benefits realisation and ensure continuous improvement through lessons learned
  • Project Management: Lead, manage, and deliver people related projects, including cyclical initiatives, applying appropriate methodologies and frameworks
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with project sponsors
  • Ensure HR projects are legally compliant with UK employment law and aligned with best HR practice
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place
  • Develop robust business cases with Project Sponsor(s), including requirements, costs, benefits, risks, and issues
  • Work within governance and reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate updates for sponsors and stakeholders, including PS Delivery Group meetings
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build relationships across People Services, the wider organisation, and external partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for people project stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating decision-making
  • Coordinate and deliver communications plans in line with departmental and corporate standards
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in peer reviews and share best practice across the People Services function
  • Promote innovation and future-focused approaches to support the delivery of strategic people outcomes
Candidate requirements
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle (e.g. employee relations, resourcing, reward, learning & development, policy development)
  • Proven experience of delivering HR-specific projects in corporate environments
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Knowledge of project methodologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Experience supporting and influencing senior managers
  • Proficiency in data management, analysis, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office
