This large-scale online retail business operates at pace, with people strategy playing a central role in its continued growth and evolution. This role sits close to senior leadership, shaping culture, capability, and performance across a complex, high-volume environment.

Role Overview
  • Location : London - Hybrid 3 days onsite
  • Package : up to £80,000 + benefits
  • Industry : Online Retail / E-commerce
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partnering executives and senior leaders to align people strategy with commercial goals
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, offering pragmatic, risk-aware guidance across the employee lifecycle
  • Developing and delivering people plans that support performance, engagement, and organisational change
  • Leading workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development across functional areas
  • Driving organisational design and large-scale change initiatives alongside finance and legal stakeholders
  • Coaching and challenging leaders to build strong management capability and consistent people practices
  • Using data and insight to inform decisions around resource planning, engagement, and capability
  • Working closely with centres of expertise across ER, reward, L&D, and recruitment
  • Supporting complex employee relations matters with a commercial and compliant approach
  • Championing values, behaviours, and culture through people-led initiatives
Main Skills Needed
  • Strong background in a People Business Partner or HR consulting role within a fast-paced business
  • Confident influencing and stakeholder management skills at senior leadership level
