A large and successful Multi-Academy Trust in Gloucester is seeking an organised and reliable HR Officer to join its central HR team from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post supporting several schools within the trust.

About the Role

The HR Officer will support HR administration across multiple schools, including safer recruitment, contract preparation, HR database maintenance, payroll updates, and assisting with employee relations casework.

This is a varied and fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and working collaboratively with operations teams across different school sites.

Experience and Qualifications
  • HR administrative experience essential (education or multi-site HR desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of SCR, DBS, and safeguarding compliance
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable

The MAT consists of 8 schools ranging from primary to secondary. All schools are rated Good or Outstanding and benefit from high-quality leadership and strong trust-wide systems.
