Job Description

  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for recruitment processes, including job postings and onboarding new hires.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and liaise with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure accuracy.
  • Advise managers on employment law and best HR practices.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for staff as required.
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee relations cases.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • Proven experience in HR, preferably within the retail industry.
  • A solid understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Effective organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
