Overview

HR Officer - Ballymena - Hybrid Working

MCS Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a multi-discipline organisation based in Ballymena, who are seeking a motivated HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this is a broad generalist role with involvement across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, inductions, early-stage employee relations, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment activity including drafting job adverts, co-ordinating interviews, and assisting with talent pipeline management.
  • Deliver effective onboarding and inductions, ensuring a positive employee experience from day one.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and advice, including policy guidance and first-line employee relations.
  • Support wellbeing, ESG, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with probation reviews, absence management, and HR administration.
  • Maintain HR records and provide reporting as required.
Qualifications
  • CIPD-qualified (minimum Level 3)
  • HR graduate or 1-2 years' experience in a similar HR role
  • Strong IT skills, with good knowledge of Office 365
  • Confident, personable, and able to present effectively
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
