Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company is seeking an HR professional to align the People Plan with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess CIPD Level 5 qualifications and have strong HR expertise, particularly in employee relations and change management. You will be responsible for leadership development and communication strategies to drive engagement while managing HR service measures. This role offers up to £55,000 per annum and various benefits including a company car allowance and private medical insurance.

Pay, benefits and more :

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum , and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day :

Delivering a comprehensive People Plan aligned to business objectives

  • Driving leadership development, succession planning, and capability building
  • Providing expert advice on employee relations, employment law, and change management
  • Supporting recruitment, resourcing, and TUPE activities
  • Championing engagement initiatives and communication strategies
  • Managing HR service measures including absence, recruitment lead times, and budget
What you need to succeed at GXO :

CIPD Level 5 qualified with strong HR / OD expertise

  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR policy
  • Proven experience in employee relations and change management
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
  • Excellent communication and IT skills (MS Office)
  • Flexible, results-driven, and committed to driving change
