Job description

I am supporting a well‑established, family‑owned business with multiple UK sites, operating within a specialist service and installation environment. The company has experienced rapid growth in recent years, and is now seeking an experienced HRBP or Interim HR Manager to join them on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with strong potential for extension.

This opportunity has arisen due to internal HR transitions, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in providing hands‑on HR support across the business, partnering closely with Operations and senior leadership.

This is a busy, varied, and operationally focused position, well suited to someone who enjoys being visible in the business and working at pace. You'll manage day‑to‑day HR activity, take the lead on ER cases, and support a number of ongoing projects, all while helping to maintain a positive and engaged culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary HR contact during a period of organisational transition
  • Provide robust ER support, including managing complex cases
  • Partner closely with the Operations and Senior Management teams
  • Drive and deliver HR projects aligned to business needs
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning where required
  • Build strong on‑site relationships and provide pragmatic HR guidance
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HRBP or HR Manager in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, operations, or similar fast‑paced environments
  • Confident handling complex ER matters
  • Resilient, pragmatic, and comfortable making tough decisions
  • High energy, positive and adaptable. Strong cultural fit is essential
  • Enjoys being office‑based and engaging directly with teams
  • Available to start in January and able to commit to the duration
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Salary of £50,000 - £60,000
  • Onsite parking provided
  • Competitive benefits package
  • A friendly, inclusive, people‑focused culture
  • Chance to join a successful, growing organisation during an exciting phase
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact across HR operations and project
