Job summary

A leading photonics technology company in Glasgow is seeking a People Insights Lead Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data management and analytics, as well as expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud. This full-time position offers hybrid work arrangements and requires a commitment to data stewardship and storytelling.

Job Summary

As the People Insights Lead Analyst you will play a pivotal role in helping leaders across the organisation make smarter, faster and more strategic decisions. You will partner closely with business and functional teams, bringing curiosity, collaboration and technical expertise to every challenge. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to embed data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand goals and design analytical solutions.
  • Deliver clear insights and visualisations that support business and talent decisions.
  • Promote a data‑driven mindset through strong statistical analysis and communication.
  • Research and analyse trends to identify opportunities and guide action.
  • Influence stakeholders with compelling data‑backed storytelling.
  • Measure results to ensure analytics deliver meaningful impact.
  • Automate and scale reporting to build efficient repeatable solutions.
About You
  • Proven experience with Fusion Analytics or Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years in data management, business analysis or analytics.
  • Strong background in data visualisation best practices.
  • Experience with HR metrics / KPIs is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Oracle Analytics Cloud, FAW or FDI (Oracle highly preferred).
  • Ability to translate data into visual stories that highlight trends, causes and business impacts.
  • Knowledge of analytics for HR processes and metrics.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CPPA, PIPL) and commitment to data stewardship.
Working Conditions

Working conditions typical of a climate‑controlled and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.

Safety Requirements
