Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid working 2 days a week in the office

12 months fixed term contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator in our Milton Keynes office embracing a hybrid work model with 2-3 days on‑site. As the People (HR) function at BSI undergoes a transformative phase your role within the People Advisory team will be pivotal in guiding and supporting our workforce through various activities on a large scale.

Collaborating within the broader HR Operations Support team your role extends to providing efficient HR administration and advisory services to stakeholders and the business. Handling a diverse workload you’ll be involved in tasks such as processing starters and leavers, managing internal transfers, responding to queries, advising on policy and supporting BSI’s centres of excellence. Emphasizing best practices in policies, procedures and processes you’ll be a key player in maintaining and enhancing these services.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow set guidelines to offer high‑quality administration support to the business and People team meeting both legal and business standards.
  • Timely and effective handling of People Advisory query resolution for Tier 1 work and escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all records for colleagues are properly maintained and comply with GDPR.
  • Understand local legislation changes and continuously improve process with the People Partners in respectable countries.
  • Manage and process People Advisory invoices.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Previous HR experience ideally in an advisory capacity.
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualified.
  • Confident and driven.
  • Experience of working within a pressurised and commercial business.
  • High standards of accuracy, quality and efficiency and a strong service ethic.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic team‑player and relationship builder.
  • Competent written and verbal communication with active listening.
