Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner in a commercial, sales-focused environment.
  • Confidence and credibility to influence at all levels.
  • Previous experience leading or managing other HR professionals.
  • Strong HR generalist skills and excellent UK employment law knowledge.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Empathy, integrity, and a belief in the power of people.
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with an industry leading manufacturer based in North Down, wishing to appoint a HR Business Partner to their growing commercial team.

The Role

You'll be the go-to partner for leaders across the business, helping them grow their teams, solve problems with empathy and clarity, and build a culture where care and performance go hand in hand.

What you'll be doing
  • Be a trusted partner - guiding senior leaders with sound, people-focused advice, from employee relations to organisational change.
  • Shape culture - embed values, coach leaders, and help create a workplace where everyone belongs.
  • Build talent - support smart hiring, onboarding, and succession planning to get the right people in the right roles.
  • Grow capability - help identify skill gaps, nurture future leaders, and make learning part of everyday practice.
  • Drive performance & engagement - from fair feedback to wellbeing initiatives, you'll help people feel valued and inspired.
  • Do the "special things" - bring creativity and heart to projects that don't fit the usual boxes.
The Successful Person
  • Proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner in a commercial, sales-focused environment
