Overview

HR Business Partner — Hybrid (3 days in-office) | Oxford/Hampshire. Rate up to £50,000 pro rata | Fixed Term Contract. We are working with a leading engineering company seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and BAU support, driving the development and delivery of divisional people plans/strategies that support business goals and priorities.

Work with the Group Talent Acquisition team to create strategic workforce plans to deliver the required levels, quality, and competency of resource in a timely manner to support the business plan. Provide valuable input to group people initiatives along with supporting the creation and delivery of the annual divisional calendar of activities. Support talent management and development planning for the division, enhancing the quality of leaders and managers. In conjunction with the Group L&D team, identify opportunities to build skills and capabilities of the workforce, support development plans for high potentials, and ensure succession bench strength. Support, from a people perspective, TUPEs and M&A activity.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Group Talent Acquisition team to create strategic workforce plans ensuring resource levels, quality, and competency align with the business plan.
  • Contribute to group people initiatives and assist in delivering the annual divisional calendar of activities.
  • Support talent management and development planning for the division; work with the Group L&D team to identify skill opportunities and build capabilities; support development plans for high potentials and ensure succession bench strength.
  • Provide people-side support for TUPE and M&A activity.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Using HR experience, skills, knowledge and collaboration, make an impact in key areas such as change, employee engagement and talent/data analytics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to distil complex data into clear insights.
  • Previous experience in a project-based or analyst role.

  • Rate: £50,000 pro rata (inside IR35)
