Job description
Role Overview

This role will deliver HV installation and maintenance services across the UK, covering design, erection, testing, commissioning, and refurbishments up to 33kV. Accredited under NERS, we also design, install, and commission utility connections for DNO adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical solutions in collaboration with the HV Operations Manager.
  • Manage works to meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Ensure clear work instructions and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Oversee sub-contractors and maintain quality standards.
  • Deliver construction, maintenance, and asset replacement projects on 11-33kV networks.
  • Organise HV outages, switching, isolation, and safety documentation.
  • Undertake HV testing, commissioning, and maintenance of switchgear and protection systems.
  • Lead onshore / offshore maintenance scopes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering - Power Distribution (preferred).
  • City & Guilds in HV Operational Safety.
  • HV Senior Authorisation status (DNO or equivalent).
  • 5+ years in electrical contracting, with HV Private Networks experience (essential).
  • Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to prioritise safety.
