Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • HR generalist experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of using HR systems.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self motivated, organised and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee performance and conduct.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinary and grievance.
  • Support the HR team through all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS system.
  • Organise and coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Deliver HR administrative support across the HR function.
  • Support the HR Manager with HR projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and services.
