A leading housing provider in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This full-time position offers a salary of up to £35,000 based on experience and the flexibility of hybrid working. HR Advisor

Full Time, Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00

Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus great benefits

Gloucester based with the option of hybrid working up to 2 days per week, once competent on systems & processes (This to be agreed with management)

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our busy, dedicated HR Advisor team. This is an exciting time to join a dynamic Team in a varied and rewarding role.

About the role

You would form part of a dedicated Team who provide accurate, influential, timely advice and guidance through a remote HR Advisory service to the Group, for a wide range of employee relations issues.

What are we looking for

We are looking for someone that will bring a great energy and motivation, an already established HR Advisor that wants to progress within a fast-growing and fast paced UK wide organisation. Interpersonal skills are vital for this role, coupled with the ability to work with a number of stakeholders at different levels across the business and previous experience with high numbers of caseload is essential.

Alongside a strong knowledge of HR Employment Law, the ideal candidate will be confident in utilising HR systems, have the ability to provide advice remotely and have experience of working across high volume, advisory and investigative projects.

Your responsibilities & duties will include
  • Provide general HR advice on our policies and procedures to all employees and managers
  • Dealing with a large varied case load which includes disciplinary, absence management, grievance and performance
  • Provide detailed, pragmatic employee relations advice across the organisation
  • Guide, influence, support and empower managers through advice in order to identify, understand and implement effective and commercial solutions to employee relation issues
  • Ability to risk assess and prioritise HR employee relation case work
  • Maintaining appropriate recording/updating of all case documentation
  • Identify trends, report and escalatie as appropriate using in-house HR systems
  • Participate in regular case reviews with HR Team Leader to discuss complex cases, share information and best practice
  • Work closely with wider HR Group to ensure a joined up seamless service
Role Criteria
  • CIPD level 3 or above is essential to the role
  • Previous experience as a HR Advisor is essential to the role
  • Experience of working in an environment with TUPE and Trade Unions is desirable but not essential
  • A high level of customer service is this is the forefront of our business
  • Confident user of Microsoft packages, including word and excel
  • Previous use of Workday and other HR systems is desirable but not essential
  • The ideal candidate must be both robust and resilient and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, have the ability to multitask and to adapt their own style
