HR Advisor – 6 Month FTC

Location: Solihull (Hybrid working – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

We’re recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a well-established logistics business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, hands-on HR role where you’ll play a key part in supporting a large operational workforce.

You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team, taking ownership of the Distribution function as a trusted advisor to managers. You’ll provide expert guidance across a broad range of HR matters and help drive consistent, compliant practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on high-volume Employee Relations cases
  • Provide clear, practical advice to line managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with employment law and internal standards
Qualifications
  • Solid generalist HR experience, ideally gained in logistics, distribution, or a similar fast-moving environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confidence in managing complex ER cases, including those involving union representation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Availability for an October start
