HR Advisor - Permanent

Location : Cambridgeshire area

Salary : Competitive, plus benefits

Working Pattern : Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week on-site

We're supporting a growing FMCG business in recruiting an HR Advisor to join their established People team. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with managers, driving best practice, and thriving in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees across the business.
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Manage a range of employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring compliance with policy and employment law.
  • Support performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes, offering clear advice and guidance to managers.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding activity, including inductions and exit interviews.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as engagement, culture, change initiatives and development programmes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support data and reporting to influence people's decisions.
About You / Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, UK employment law and best practice.
  • Confident in managing ER cases and advising managers.
  • Resilient, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
