Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate advice on HR policies and employment law.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues and support employee lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development of HR policies and deliver training sessions.

Skills

CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5 preferred)

Minimum of three years' experience in HR

HR Advisor - Belfast - Hybrid Working

MCS is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a 9-12 month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including investigations and formal processes
• Support all stages of the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to performance, development, and exit
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality and compliance
• Collaborate with the HR team to implement initiatives that enhance engagement and retention
• Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and best practice
• Deliver HR-related training sessions as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

The Ideal Candidate

• CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5 preferred)
• Minimum of three years' experience working within a Human Resources department, ideally in the food or manufacturing industry
• Experience working in a unionised environment (beneficial)
• Strong ER experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Flexible to travel across company sites as required
