Aintree Park Group Practice is a well established GP Practice in the North of Liverpool. It has two surgery sites, one in Orrell Park Liverpool L9 and the other in Aintree, Oriel Drive L10 and approximately 15000 patients. The Practice is made up from 2 GP Partners, supported by salaried GP's ,nursing team Operations Manager, reception and admin teams, all of whom are required to work over both sites.
The Practice is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to join the APGP team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions as well as supporting the Operations Manager and the management team as well as the clinical teams. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in HR systems, preferably with an HR qualification, which would be an advantage.
Main responsibilities of the role will include
Assist the Operations Manager with preparation of the monthly payroll
Manage and maintain employee sickness and training records ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist with the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews and associated correspondence
Preparation of Induction programmes for new staff, collating necessary paperwork ie evidence of qualifications, DBS checks, confidentiality agreement, issue of contracts.
Assist with the management of health & safety within the Practice , associated checks and assessments.
Assist with the maintenance programme for the Practice, recording and obtaining quotes.
Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance overall organisational effectiveness.
Aintree Park Group Practice is a well established GP Practice, and has two sites, one in Orrell Park and the other in Aintree areas of Liverpool. The Practice is made up from 2 Partners, 8 salaried GP's, advance nurse practitioners, practice nurses and a Practice Matron, as well as an in house Pharmacist. The clinical teams are supported by a team of Care Navigators and an Admin team.

The role will include
Payroll management, management of petty cash
Preparation of Induction programmes for all new staff.
Monitor and record accurate records of sickness and training for staff, providing reports as and when required. Monitor and record annual leave requests via Teams, for GP's and other staff.
Monitor and review policies, ensuring all are up to date, on an on going basis, making staff aware of any changes.
Health & Safety Management - ensure compliance for all staff whilst in the workplace, monitoring and arrange for calibration of equipment, advising staff as necessary. Ensure that all processes and procedures are compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
Assist with Infection Control procedures, ensuring compliance by colleagues.
IT - working knowledge of EMIS and Microsoft Office applications
Premises management - maintain the work programme for the external areas. Identify and report any defects within the building, with a view to resolving. Liaison with external contractors.
Maintaining stock levels of equipment for both clinical and administrative teams, ordering as and when required, to be cost effective.
