  • Maintain HR databases and produce reports.
  • Coordinate induction and training records.
  • Support inspections and statutory returns.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Head of HR.

HR Administrator - Independent School (Guildford)
Full-time, permanent £28,000 - £35,000 Start: ASAP

We're working with a leading independent school in Guildford to appoint a full-time HR Administrator to support the delivery of high-quality HR and compliance services across the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and collaborative HR team in a highly regarded school, offering a professional and values-led environment with excellent development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns, interview logistics and candidate communication
  • Conducting safer recruitment checks and maintaining compliance records
  • Issuing contracts and processing changes to terms of employment
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll
  • Maintaining HR databases (Every HR, iSAMS) and producing reports
  • Coordinating induction and training records
  • Supporting inspections and statutory returns (ISI/Ofsted)
  • Providing general administrative support to the Head of HR and school leaders
Requirements
  • Strong administrative experience in a busy, professional setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in a school or regulated environment is ideal (but not essential)
  • Understanding of safer recruitment and data protection
  • Friendly, reliable, and highly organised team player
