Are you passionate about helping young people build a better future? YMCA Cornwall in Penzance is looking for a Housing Support Officer to join our dedicated team. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be a turning point in a young person's life.

Responsibilities
  • Empower vulnerable young people (aged 16-24) to secure and maintain stable housing.
  • Guide them towards independence by helping with finances, tenancy agreements, and finding long-term accommodation.
  • Work as part of a supportive team, providing one-on-one help and connecting residents with vital resources.

This role can be challenging, but it is incredibly rewarding. You\'ll be a key part of our residents\' journey, providing the structure and support they need to succeed. We\'re looking for someone who is resilient, compassionate, and ready to make a tangible impact.

  • Salary: £27,236.53 - £28,926.76 subject to performance review
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern (part-time may be an option)
